In Realm of Reckoning players begin each game by selecting 9 out of more than 19 unique monuments, each offering a different way to score points. These choices shape the game’s strategy, shifting the importance of mechanics like area control, set collection, resource management, and influence building. As players play and tuck action cards, they gather resources and icons that interact with the chosen monuments. Some monuments reward influence in key cities, others favor icon sets, board control, or relative standings against neighbors. Because the scoring conditions change every game, players must adapt their strategies, making each session a fresh and dynamic challenge.

Each turn players draft a card, gain resources, and tuck the card to build influence and store icons. With enough influence, they can claim powerful artifacts or trigger a Reckoning—an intense bidding war to build monuments and unlock new scoring. After three Ages, the highest score wins.
