The Story
Set in the medieval realm of Valoria, Honor's End follows a band of knights confronting powerful enemies while uncovering a mysterious truth buried at the heart of their kingdom. As the tale unfolds across an eight-chapter narrative campaign, new cards, dice, and mechanics are revealed chapter by chapter - letting players ease into the game's growing complexity while the mystery of Valoria deepens around them.
How You Play
Honor's End is a cooperative deckbuilder for 1-4 players. Each knight chooses a path - Valor, Fortitude, or Wisdom - which shapes the cards, abilities, and tactics available to them as they build out their deck over the course of play. Enemies are built from opposing traits - Wrath, Deceit, and Despair - so no two battles play out quite the same way.
Combat is driven by hero, action, and equipment cards, but the real tension comes from Honor: every round, enemies roll Danger Dice that chip away at your party's collective honor, while Inspiration Dice let you claw back some of that bad luck. The goal is simple to state and hard to achieve - defeat three enemy champions before your team's honor runs out. Success depends on more than raw combat power; managing the Temple and Monarch reward tracks, and playing smart with your deck, matters just as much as landing a hit.
Two Ways to Play
Story Mode is the recommended entry point, walking players through Valoria's narrative across eight chapters, each unlocking new content as the story progresses. Once you've completed the campaign - or if you'd rather skip the story altogether - Adventure Mode lets you mix and match heroes, enemies, and equipment to build your own randomized quests, giving the game strong replay value long after the main story ends.
Notably, the design is built to avoid "quarterbacking," so no single player ends up dictating the whole table's strategy - every knight has a meaningful hand in the outcome.
